Pre-match at Motherwell yesterday Brendan Rodgers concluded an interview with Sky Sports saying ‘good man’.

So what.

After Celtic’s two late goals Jane Lewis was clearly on a downer, her line of questioning was horrendous but being a decent type the Celtic manager steered his answers back towards what happened on the pitch, providing BBC Scotland with content to fill their multiple sports slots.

Lewis wouldn’t let go, the second half recovery wasn’t of much interest to her, post match her focus was only on the first 45 minutes of the match.

Sensing that he was wasting his time Rodgers concluded the interview with the words ‘good girl’ which Lewis repeated. The Celtic boss didn’t storm off.

Since Rodgers returned to Celtic in June BBC Scotland haven’t been on the invite list for media conferences to preview domestic matches.

Their next access will be shortly before kick-off for Wednesday’s match at home to Dundee, Lewis is expected to be down the M77 taking in the action from Rugby Park alongside Alasdair Lamont, Neil McCann, Kenny Miller and Steven Thompson.

A complete non story, and only gets attention due to the scum cheerleaders within the Scottish media?
Personally, glad it’s happened and prefer the attention to be upon Rodgers moreso than the player’s.
Usual enough tactic played by a manager in a pressurised situation which the title race has become?
Rodgers has been around long enough to be able to handle the situation imo?
Let’s face it, Rodgers was under enough pressure going into the match yesterday, which in turn transpires down into the player’s when the spotlight is also upon them and there individual performances.
That increased massively with the 1st half display that we got.
So to get the response that we did in the 2nd half against a team that hadn’t taken points from a game that they had scored first in, was very pleasing and satisfying in the end, regardless of how late it was achieved?
That shows just how much character still remains within our team, and a great sign of being able to handle and manage the pressure involved?
Things that were starting to be questioned within our own support, without the scum cheerleaders in the Scottish media jumping on the bandwagon?
The scum are yet to face any such pressure, and when they did last time against ourselves, they still failed miserably.
Nothing to suggest that current history within this season won’t stay intact for the remaining 2 Glasgow derbies either?
Then that silly bitch Jane Lewis will have something to really whinge over when the title stays at Celtic Park
