Good Girl- the tweet that came back to haunt hipster Ewan Murray

There is a famous old saying about people in glass houses not throwing stones.

Especially so if you work for a trendy left leaning publisher and can’t keep a lid on your dislike for all things green and white.

It seems that the Guardian’s golf reporter jumped on a bandwagon a little too early yesterday, forgetting that the exact wording that he was attacking Brendan Rodgers for was one that he had used himself.

When it comes to Twitter it seems that Ewan Murray can’t help himself. With no one interested in his thoughts on golf he seems to get attention and kicks from slagging off Celtic or better still Celtic supporters.

Much like his buddy Tom English covering egg-chasing for the BBC, Murray is way off the radar adding his brilliant commentary to what’s going on in the bunkers and fairways. Football, especially Celtic and Twitter gives them the attention they desire

Rodgers was the target yesterday after a friendly sign off to Jane Lewis of BBC Scotland who was also distressed by two late goals giving Celtic full points from Motherwell.

Now based in Manchester Murray has been forever been mentally scarred by Albert Kidd’s late appearance off the bench at Dens Park in May 1986.

It seems that the chance to criticise the Celtic manager quickly lifted his spirits after wee Naisy masterminded a capitulation at Ibrox on Saturday.

Strangely the Guardian’s golfing expert never managed to tweet about his own team’s performance on Saturday.

‘Albert Kidd Day’ comes round again on 3rd May. Be nice to do something to mark it especially for Ewan, even though this one isn’t a particularly landmark anniversary at 38. The big 40th isn’t too far away though!

Murray’s a prick that’s not from me,this was from a conversation I had with an English guy I got to speak with on Holiday in Lanzarote over the Christmas and New Year period.
The guy worked with Murray in a few places over the years and said he was nothing but an absolute prick, everyone who worked with him hated him, they laughed and took the piss out of him because he couldn’t put a sentence together.
The guys last words to me were how the fuck he still has job in the media is a mystery, and that is from an outsider,so even the English know he is PRICK.

If Brendan had walked away at the end of Lewis’s questions saying ‘ good alleged Motherwell fan girl’ , I could see half of what the furore was from the SMSM nodding dogs after yesterday’s result . Where were the ‘ inspired decision ‘ Idah for Kyogo substitution questions from Ms Lewis ? She needed a distraction headline ..and got it . Conveniently !
