A year after leaving Celtic Josip Juranovic is still looking out for his old club- and his rival for the right-back slot.
Coming in from the cold after Alistair Johnston’s early injury, Tony Ralston gave his usual 100% commitment with Celtic fans left drooling over a tackle in the build up to the second penalty award of the night.
When Adam Idah converted the 90th minute penalty there was a special cheer over in Berlin as Juranovic was reminded of some of the epic victories during his Celtic days.
While Celtic searched far and wide for a full-back during the summer of 2021 Ralston took his opportunity by default as Ange Postecoglou put together a new look side.
Towards the end of August Celtic managed to sign a Croatian international for that role but with the form of Ralston Juranovic had to switch over to left-back on his debut at Ibrox.
It was a situation that was often deployed although once Greg Taylor and Alexandro Bernabei became established Juranovic was the first choice right-back with Ralston’s his ever-ready deputy.
Don’t forget this tackle that led to us getting the pen. God bless the brickie ? pic.twitter.com/Snqih4fXuH

Commenting from Berlin – One could say it ‘took ma breath away’ –
Then again there has been plenty this season that has taken our breath away regarding Celtic and not in a positive manner either !
