Greg Taylor isn’t expected to be involved in Celtic’s Scottish Cup tie at St Mirren on Sunday.

The defender suffered a calf injury late on in the Scottish Cup win over Buckie Thistle on January 21 and has missed the three matches since then.

On Tuesday Brendan Rodgers spoke optimistically about Taylor being in contention to play against St Mirren but Video Celts understands that his comeback plan has been pushed back a week to the SPFL match at home to Kilmarnock.

Alexandro Bernabei looks like making it four appearances in a row on Sunday with many fans impressed by his performance in the 2-1 victory over Hibs.

St Mirren in a cup tie will offer Bernabei and his team mates a tougher test than Hibs, in midweek Stephen Robinson’s side won 2-0 at home to Dundee which followed up on a 3-0 win away to Hibs.

After South Korea’s semi-final defeat at the Asian Cup Oh Hyeon-gyu and Yang Hyun-jun are both back training at Lennoxtown and in contention for Sunday’s squad.

St Mirren will be without Kwon Hyeok-kyu who has impressed for the Paisley side since moving out on loan from Celtic.

Sunday’s match will be played to a finish with extra-time and penalties if necessary.

Dunno about anyone else – But I am NOT looking forward to this one…

I’ll be glad with a narrow win and progression to the next round –

Still I hope and dream that Celtic will put on a five star performance…

    You never know !
