Mikey Johnston is reported to be close to joining West Brom on loan until the end of the season.

The 24-year-old spent last season on loan at Vitoria Guimaraes but has failed to make much headway at Celtic although his fitness and availability seems to have improved.

Over the last few months Johnston has been a regular substitute with his highlight coming on December 26 when he came off the bench to score two late goals in the 3-0 win away to Dundee.

Percy is the Telegraph’s Midland football reporter with almost 170,000 Twitter followers.

Johnston’s likely departure comes soon after Marco Tilio rejoined Melbourne City on loan, with two wingers leaving it clears space for Nicolas Kuhn to become more involved.

Celtic have still to announce the loan signing of Adam Idah but after being pictured arriving at Glasgow Airport last night that deal appears to be a formality.

On Saturday Celtic are in action away to Aberdeen with Brendan Rodgers expected to host media conferences on Friday.

Should be an interesting press conference on Friday then !

Wonder if the media will ask him if he’s happy with the ‘quality signings’

And that the fans are pretty pissed off with that said ‘quality’

Anyway – There’s still a few wee sma’ hours to go until the window slams shut !

It doesn’t slam shut for us.

It creaks open like Dracular’s coffin and rumbles shut like the Mummy’s tomb but always with a few frights in between.

I’m hearing from hugely unreliable ‘sources’ that Roberto Mancini’s, and the whole Saudi football department’s lives will be on the line at their upcoming trial in Saudi Arabia after losing to South Korea on penalties. A prominent supporter named King was overheard saying “South Korea FFS, we can’t even beat South Korea.”
They’re accused of failing to sign the right players, failing to sign quality players, not giving them the right tactics/instructions, having too many players available for the same position, not making the right substitutions and other matters that have pissed off the main men, their supporters.
The ‘trial’ will be fairly rapid; the manager and the rest of them will plead their mitigating circumstances and the crowd’s reaction will be the defining moment, prior to a series of headless ‘chickens’ putting on a display in the main square in Riyadh.
Hmmmm, can we do a similar trial outside CP? I bloody well hope so! We’ll find out just HOW unpopular certain employees of Celtic PLC truly are and then despatch them with some rebel songs blaring out all over the Celtic Way.
We’ll call this “the New Celtic Way”.
    Hail! Hail!

One ‘King’ called Dave in South Africa will be happy though…

Korea progressing weakens Celtic for a few critical away games in far away Ugly (Not Bonnie) Scotland !

Our Club is being run by a robot, maybe?
It seems that we are following analgorithm rather than acting with reason.
Perhaps there is there a Dalek in the Celtic Boardroom giving the directions!?
