A brilliant still image has emerged at the start of the move that led to Celtic’s second penalty against Hibs at Easter Road.

As a move down the left broke down there was the very real threat of a breakaway on the other flank, the image below illustrates it perfectly.

Attached to Celtic player almost all of his life, Tony Ralston has grown up hearing all about the heroic last gasp victories that have littered the history of Scotland’s most successful club, at Dingwall two years ago he added his own special chapter.

Last night with one slide tackle in the 88th minute he set up another famous last gasp win, as the image shows it really wasn’t a situation that Ralston should have came out the winner.

With the ball won cleanly the ball moved quickly between Liel Abada and Matt O’Riley before Kyogo Furuhashi was racing into the box and chopped by Joe Newell.

After a four minute VAR check Adam Idah converted the penalty but if it hadn’t been for Ralston’s intervention two more points would almost certainly have been shipped away.
