Philippe Clement reckons that luck wasn’t on his side last night as Aberdeen lost 2-1 at Ibrox.

With a referee from Glasgow and VAR from Ayrshire the Dons knew that they were up against the odds, facing a team that has conceded one penalty in their last 79 SPFL matches and issues instructions over what officials can be involved in their matches.

In the closing minutes of last night’s match Connor Goldson twice used his arms to block the ball around the six yard box. Don Robertson used his discretion not to apply the Laws of the Game.

After the 2-1 win Clement told The Sun:

I was really satisfied with the synergy back in the stadium. It was one of the reasons I was tempted to come here.

I’m really pleased this is the case. It’s a big difference from three or four months ago and everyone is enjoying it. This was a game where things went against us and luck was not only on our side.

Nick Walsh from Boclair Academy in Bearsden will referee tonight’s match between Hibs and Celtic with Andrew Dallas on VAR.

Clement has been praised for turning his ‘water into wine ‘ in his time in Govanland . Just as I said last week ,he’s the new Messiah as far as the nodding dogs SMSM is concerned ! Can you now see the two things Celtic is up against to try to retain our title ? The one on the pitch …and the one off the pitch with the entire media organisation doing its loyal bit to help the Rangers . The only reason we have a title race is because Celtic FC has been inconsistent ,lethargic ,naive and charitable with our displays so far and nothing to do with the ‘ talents ‘ of the Pip . Oh ,and it helps enormously when the tribute act play with 2 goalkeepers as was last night’ s Goldson display …..which goes unpunished ,once again !

I can certainly see one of the two things that you rightly say that Celtic are up against as we try to retain our title John…

I and the world can see the cheating on the field of play once again so obvious in plain sight last night –

I cannot see the entire media organisation doing it’s bit for Sevco as I refuse to pay a penny in paper or TV fees but it’s well reported on here and elsewhere for free thankfully…

Scotland is a cancer ridden football country thanks to the media and Sevco as well !
