Every now and then Harry Brady will veer towards some neutral comment on the mis-management of Celtic, in contrast to his usual chipper, upbeat messaging.
An infamous podcast in the summer of 2018 will forever define ‘Brady’, getting 30 minutes of Peter Lawwell’s time seemed like the fulfilment of a life long ambition with questioning that made Jim White and Brian Laudrup seem combative and hard hitting.
Everything in the garden was rosy, the phrase a generation of domination never surfaced but suddenly big Peter had a new outlet on social media to spread the word of his greatness.
Within a year of that podcast Neil Lennon was appointed manager in the Hampden showers as the managed decline set in. Season 20/21 and Celtic’s European record are Lawwell’s legacy, he was forced to take a back seat but 18 months after ‘stepping down’ his cronies appointed him as Chairman.
The past two transfer windows have been indefensible however reading on here you wouldn’t think we are league champions, league leaders and have played, and defeated, our nearest rivals twice this season.

During his time away Michael Nicholson, groomed by Lawwell, was appointed as CEO after Dom McKay masterminded Celtic’s greatest ever transfer window.
From nowhere the Information and Content Manager of the City Football Group website was put in charge of Celtic recruitment in July 2022, the decline from summer 2021 to summer 2023 doesn’t need explained.
Why on earth Brendan Rodgers decided to return to Celtic is becoming harder to fathom with every passing week, apart from trying to get a competent team on the park from the projects recruited by Lawwell Mini he has to try and work with a completely dysfunctional infrastructure.
The January transfer window is the latest example of a club in decline, after his unstinting backing for all things Lawwell Brady had some fire fighting to do as he tip toed towards reality last night on Twitter.
