Celtic will play Chelsea in their final pre-season friendly.
The two clubs will meet at the University of Notre Dame on July 27 in the third and final match of Celtic’s pre-season build up.
On Sunday Celtic issued a tweet hinting at pre-season matches in Ireland and the United States, just over 24 hours some of the details are emerging.

The University of Notre Dame will welcome both Celtic and Chelsea to Indiana this summer, as the Bhoys go head to head with Mauricio Pochettino’s men on July 27 at the iconic Notre Dame Stadium in the city of South Bend.
The match is the last of three games for the Bhoys on their USA pre-season tour this summer, with more information on other opponents and match venues to be announced very soon.
Celtic’s pre-season matches have two very different scenarios dependent on how this season finishes.
In an ideal world it will be the chance to bed new signings into place ahead of a third successive season playing in the Champions League- if they finish this season as SPFL champions.
If Celtic fail to win the title they will face four August midweek Champions League qualifiers against teams from countries such as France and Portugal.
