Celtic have dropped a strong hint that they’ll be visiting Ireland and the United States as part of their pre-season preparations.
In recent years the hoops have headed to Austria or Slovenia to power on with fitness work while easing their way back into action with some low key friendlies against local opposition.
Last summer there was a change on that plan with a training camp in Portugal followed up by two matches in Japan that had been arranged when Ange Postecoglou was in charge.
None of those trips have been especially lucrative but a trip to the States with New York or Boston on the schedule should raise the profile and profit.

Football wise it looks like a summer of turnover at Celtic with Joe Hart retiring and Brendan Rodgers probably still looking for the four quality signings that he had identified when he returned to the club.
The 24/25 SPFL season starts on August 3 which is less than three weeks after the European Championships end.
If Celtic win the SPFL title they will go straight into the group stage draw of the Champions League, if they finish second they would have to come through four midweek qualifiers in August to hit the jackpot.
