Celtic go into the international break  one point clear at the top of the SPFL Premiership.

Philippe Clement’s side had the chance to return to top place away to Dundee today but 90 minutes before kick-off Don Robertson called the match off.

There had been doubts about the match going ahead from early in the morning with Dundee announcing a 9.15 inspection.

A local referee clearly ad concerns about a few areas of the pitch but rather than call the match off he delayed a decision till 10.15 when match referee Robertson could check the pitch out.

Just after 10.30 Sky Sports News revealed that it was match off with the SPFL now looking to reschedule the match with either the midweek before or after the April 7 Glasgow Derby the likely date.

With three matches to go before the split is arranged the postponement is a major problem for the SPFL with Dundee challenging for a place in the top six.

Clement’s side will be back in action at home to Hibs where they can go back on top with Celtic facing Livingston the following day in front of the Sky Sports cameras.

Oh dear get the crash helmets on for the abuse heading someone’s way,the klan will demand punishments for this.

  • An Tearmann says:

You can be sure that the match will be played before the Glasgow Derby.

I cannot see Sevco wanting a game in the run up to The Glasgow Derby with us having a free week…

And Sevco must get and will get exactly what they want in Scotland…

So I think it’ll be the midweek after The Glasgow Derby…

Which will suit Dundee as well no doubt…

It’s a pity that they never had one more round in Europe to negotiate though…

That I’m wishing that is one helluva an poor indictment of Brendan and the Celtic players I’m afraid !

I feel sorry for all those who will have travelled,no I don’t.Hail Hail Glorious St.Patrick??

  • Dan says:

Ha ha, very difficult game on Thursday in teeming down rain. A bet a few were leggy and achy after playing an intense 97mins on a heavy pitch, but SFA comes to rescue today.

    • TicToc says:

I think that’s about spot on.
Also, Lawwell’s ensured we didn’t get stronger over last two transfer windows, i.e. he’s thrown the new scum a life-line, the arsehole that he is, no doubt with the full concurrence of Desmond, another tory arsehole. Save the O** F***, they cried in unison and they’ll get the full assistance of the SFA, SPFL, LRA and any other assorted masonic twats that can lend a hand. I fear it may already be too late but caution Lawwell to be careful what he wishes and tries for as he’s carefully loaded straws onto the backs of our supporters and I reckon one day he’ll add ‘the final straw’. SNAP or BANG! Time will tell, as it will the outcome of this title ‘race’ in which we’ve already been handicapped by the traitors within.

Hail! Hail! The Glasgow Celtic FC, FUKK THE BOARD.

For those of you who believe in saints, have a great Saint Patrick’s Day and ditto for those, like me, who don’t!

There’s also been a late VAR review:

a 0-3 away win has just been awarded to sevco.

The SFA has also announced that anyone criticising this result

will be summoned to Hampden for ‘bringing the game into disrepute’.

    🙂

  • The Joker says:

They might even demand they are awarded a 3 nil win for the game being called off at such short notice.
A think sevco may have been carrying a few injuries, hence the late call off.

  • harold shand says:

They shat it from Dundee who the Champions just rattled 7 -1

  • the maister says:

It doesn’t take much to make them angry.
Oh and the Celtic Ladies beat them as well. Great stuff!
