A local referee has called for a further inspection of Dens Park before a decision is made on today’s match against Philippe Clement’s side going ahead.
Early this morning Dundee tweeted that there would be a 9.15am inspection on the pitch that was used on Wednesday night when the home side beat Aberdeen 1-0.
Sky Sports showed pictures from Dens Park of an area of the pitch where the ball wasn’t bouncing with a number of people forking on the turf. There is no rain at present or forecast before the 12 noon kick-off.

Match referee Don Robertson is reported to be on route to the ground, with Douglas Ross as an assistant the Tory leader is likely to have enjoyed an overnight hotel stay with the SFA funding his political activities.
Sky Sports coverage starts at 11am, when the two sides met earlier in the season the kick-off was delayed 20 minutes due to the Ibrox bus being caught in traffic with a further delay after the pyro in the away end set off fire alarms.
UPDATE: A further pitch inspection is scheduled for 10.15 with Robertson.
No action was taken by the SPFL about either delay.

Good.. They can play it on a wet wind swept Wednesday night
The commentators from Govanland where Benfica beat the other team kept saying that the Rangers players looked very’ leggy ‘ ,meaning that they were knackered ! Could this ‘wet pitch ‘ be an excuse to cancel the game as they are still tired from their defeat ? There could be every chance of dropped points if this is the case and the referee and officials can’t be having that now …can they? Could be wrong !
What?
With Robertson and Ross there is no chance Scotland’s Shame will drop points
