Dundee United’s miserable season in the Championship continued yesterday but there was one magical moment in their 1-1 home draw with Inverness Caley Thistle.
Trailing 1-0 to a goal from ex-Celt Wallace Duffy the Tangerines sent on Louis Moult at the break to liven things up.
The 31-year-old is some way short of his season 2017/18 Motherwell best but showed incredible awareness in the 56th minute to turn in the centre circle and lob in the equaliser from 50 yards out.

Despite that boost Jim Goodwin’s side were unable to find a winner against the team second bottom of the Championship.
Moult has scored 14 goals this season but United are just a point ahead of Raith Rovers who have played a game less and visit Tannadice next Saturday.
The panic being shown by United has resulted in a reduction of the away ticket allocation for Raith fans but the 1,300 tickets delivered to Starks Park were instantly sold out.
They could be dancing in the streets of Raith at the end of the season….
