The New Beale? Unlucky Clement explains how his unlucky players were unlucky against Celtic

With just two wins, both against the feckless Nick Montgomery and Hibs, Philippe Clement seems to be increasingly using the word unlucky.

Apparently his team were unlucky at the weekend to have a referee selected from the Crown Bar in Bellshill while the VAR official works on a daily basis with the Murray Park starlets.

His team recently had a run of 75 SPF matches without conceding a penalty come to an end which is really unlucky, on Sunday against the league leaders his team were awarded more than twice as many free kicks while four Celtic players were booked, three before half time.

Most managers would be doing cartwheels over luck like that but with with five of the final seven SPFL matches to be played away from Ibrox it seems like the former Monaco boss is starting to feel the pressure.

Last January Micky Beale came up with the strange theory that Ange Postecoglou was a lucky manager.

It is difficult to describe inheriting a squad that finished the season 25 points behind in a two horse race as lucky, and then having to sell your best players in January to fund a rebuild.

Other than a three month stint in Greece more than a decade ago Postecoglou had never managed in Europe and found himself walking in solo to take on the might of Steven Gerrard, Gary McAllister and the brains behind the operation, Mister Beale.

Taking 10 points from your first seven matches isn’t lucky but it can be overcome through hard work and installing the right mentality on a group of players that buy into your beliefs.

I am now proud to welcome Mr.Clement into my FUD Club…He joins Barry F…and Kris B.

Oh dear getting the excuses in early.

  • The Joker says:

Lol I posted yesterday on the Celtic blog and your man Forrest took the nip with me,apparently for telling the truth on The 5 Way Agreement.
I was told to fuck off when I mentioned this to him apparently immaterial to him and that’s all I ever post about.
But then a few posters agreed with me about me calling out The 5 Way Agreement and before you know Forrest deletes the posts.

Forrest pulled me up as I mentioned The 5 Way Agreement being pulled out in front of Celtic by sevco when Celtic think about rocking the boat, the same guy has been writing an article everyday since Sunday about Silva diving, double standards or what.

    • The great jc says:

      Crap site.

    • Stephen says:

Got to agree with you Joker on the 5 way agreement, and James Forrest’s opinion is the only one that counts on his blog.

    • TicToc says:

Sorry, I just don’t follow the logic of “….. The 5 Way Agreement being pulled out in front of Celtic by sevco when Celtic think about rocking the boat…..”
Where do you get this ‘information’ and why would Celtic be threatened by it?
I’d be really interested to know and also to discuss openly on here (a seperate thread for this alone, Joe?) in order to clarify everything that’s known about the 5 (6) Way Agreement. I’ll just add that I don’t agree with what you assert and I’m happy to explain that.

Editor: We can hve the discussion on here. Celtic were one of the main movers for the Five/Six Way Agreement. Discuss freely rather than sharing gripes and issues with other bloggers, take those issues up directly with them.

      • The Joker says:

Replying to Tic Toc Liewell has seen it and signed off on the Agreement, but has denied knowing anything about it,hence sevco flashing it in front of him to blackmail him should he want to rock the boat, simples.

Joker, that seems to me to be just an assumption. I pointed out over 10 years ago, on another Tim site that, Lawwell would be too cunning to sign ANYTHING of that nature. See my response to Joe. Unless and until someone can come up with a signed copy then there’s going to be supposition but no evidence. Hardly proof!
I’ve seen the Final Draft and email that was sent out on 26th July 2012. I believe it to be genuine but can’t actually prove it. At CP it was sent to Peter Lawwell (though maybe tellingly NOT his secretary) and Eric Riley.
NB If enough evidence can be gathered I’d happily pay, say as part of crowd-funding, to bring this matter into the light and have the TRUTH exposed for all to see and hopefully bring prosecutions for fraud as IMHO it has to be that and there’s no time bar on fraud.

I agree Joe. Is it possible to have a wee place on here JUST for that. I’d also suggest that anyone with opinion, rather than fact, calls it for what it is. It could be a wee reference ‘library’ for those seeking to learn about/clarify/add to/etc. their knowledge or the lack of regarding that odious agreement.

An early point I’d like to put forward is that there may be NO SUCH THING as a signed agreement. It said within the agreement that if no dissenting voices came forward by 10.00 AM on Friday 27th July 2012 then it would be taken as agreed by all recipients and actioned. Of course, IMO anyway, there must have been discussions, long and deep, about the content of the final draft, probably taking place in ‘lodges’ across the country and effectively agreed by all BEFORE it was even emailed to those recipients on Thursday 26th July around 9.00 PM.

That of course raises another question: What other type of company other than the SFA/SPL etc would carry out business in this manner? Sending a binding email on one day at 9.00 PM and saying it would be taken effectively as if signed if no dissent before 10.00 AM the next morning. It totally stinks, but it’s not over yet!

Editor: Will look into that, as we know Doncaster’s email went out on Thu, 26 Jul 2012 21:01:21, no replies by 10am the next morning and it is high fives(or sixes) all round.

        • TicToc says:

That’s great Joe. Thing is I don’t want you to have to devote a lot of your time to this unless there’s a very high prospect of taking it further. I’ve got all kinds of notes on this and have been in touch with others about it but in ANY open forum it gets very difficult to make progress as , e.g. I’ve got an idea of ONE way to take this but it needs to remain confidential so as not to warn anyone who’s in the wrong of what they may have to face. I’ll try to get something to you in the near future without putting it on here as clearly that would NOT be confidential.

Even when I agreed with James on here and tried to post saying so, I had my post banned. This has happened on occasions.
They don’t do much good for themselves to encourage readers to stay on their sites, and new readers will stay well away….
    Its crap.

  • Terence Nova says:

I fell out with the guy from across the water…and decided no more posts there…I then tried a few efforts on Forrest’s site…and they were ignored…I think his “”pal” marked my card….Anyway both sites are crap…Joe will do for me.

    • The Joker says:

The man across the water drinks the kool aid just like Forrest.
There is always a good bit of FAKE NEWS from them both,it’s always a got this information from a well placed source inside Celtic Park,or from well placed source from inside Ibrox, nothing ever seems to come of it.

  • John mcghee says:
