Adam Idah was close to a classic Glasgow phrase as he reflected on Celtic’s 6-0 win away to St Johnstone.
‘Absolutely brilliant’ was the verdict from the striker while many fans would have given the early evening thriller the PURE DEAD BRILLIANT treatment as Brendan Rodgers’ side hit top gear.
Idah was a second half substitute, scoring the final goal which was something of a work of art involving three summer signings.
Alex Valle played the key role, passing and receiving the ball from Luke McCowan before teeing up Idah to slot away a shot that summer up the pace and quality of the Celtic performance.
Idah has now scored in three successive matches with a marginal offside call against Hearts in the previous match preventing him from extending that run.
Tuesday takes his game into a whole new domain away to Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League with a legitimate debate underway over whether Idam or Kyogo Furuhashi should start the match as Celtic look to build on their home win over Slovan Bratislava.

Maeda is also scoring freely as is Kuhn and Calmac. We’re scoring from outside the box frequently, this is genuinely a key element of BR the second coming.
Last season Maeda was selling corner flags, either he was out wide staring at them or scuffed it and hit the flag. Look at the picture, looks like Maeda smelled blood.
2nd
Idah is a class act, far more clinical than Kyogo (love the bones of Kyogo)
3rd
Barnardo playing less minutes than Hatate and scoring is a good habit to get.
