Less than a week after signing Michel-Ange Balikwisha Celtic are on the verge of signing a second left winger.
With Jota due back from injury early in the new year Celtic could well have three options for that position as well as Daizen Maeda.
The signing of a second left-winger plus the likely move of Adam Idah to Swansea would suggest that Daizen Maeda will become the first choice striker- provided there is no late interest in the Japan internationalist from elsewhere.
UPDATE: Celtic have agreed a £5.2m deal to sign Hammarby IF winger Sebastian Tounekti.
It’s understood the Hoops’ third bid has been accepted in the last hour.
The clubs are now in a race against time to complete the documents.
Personal terms are not expected to be an issue. https://t.co/dSWToKOvhu pic.twitter.com/pAkRQNJUpd

It has been a frustrating day for Celtic on the transfer front with Ajax appearing to be favourites to sign Kasper Dolberg from Anderlecht.
A busy day had been anticipated on the transfer front but by 6pm no movement had been confirmed in either direction.
The English transfer window closes at 7pm with a further four hours for Scottish clubs to do business, the Dutch transfer window closes at 11pm on Tuesday night.

I thought sevco were skint ,I’ve just heard they’ve signed schemeti, Portuguese striker for 8 million and a Marseille defender, and we’ve sold Idah with no replacement striker as yet, typical Celtic board.
Chris, nobody will want maeda judging by his performances in the last three games. But, idah has been confirmed by Swansea.
We just signed tounekti. Idah has gone.nobody will want maeda Chris. His last three games will see to that.
So we offer what they first asked tor and get him. What going on at this club. Even the huns can do better deals and there skint. Total embarrassmentthe only one worth taking got awacnn you blame him,?
I know we have lost a few players but the difference between the football we were playing last pre season in the States and now is a million miles away. Even at the end of last season we were not as fluent as at the start, can’t put my finger on what is wrong ? Even Kyogo last year not as good as previous year Maeda stepped up thankfully. It is okay keeping the ball but you have to go forward last few games been hard to watch
…we don’t have a midfield and the tactics are crap.
So this is how fucked up our transfer dealings are. Chelsea recall Guiu from Sunderland so they sign Brobbey from Ajax for 17m. They use cash to hijack Dolberg deal and we end up signing Fofana on loan from Chelsea!!!!
