There has only been one genuine suggestion that Wilfried Nancy is going to be sacked by Celtic.
Following defeat number four, away to Dundee United Peter Martin tweeted that talks were underway about the future of the manager.
That tweet came out at lunchtime on the Thursday, alas the hope only lasted around an hour before the Celtic messengers were out trashing it.
Martin is very well connected at Celtic. Under a previous CEO he got a lot of corporate work. Hosting Player of the Year events and some lucrative Charity dinners.
These days, after being on the media circuit he hosts the PLZ Soccer show. A strange name but it does seem to bring in big name pundits with Celtic leanings.
Soon after Martin had tweeted about Nancy’s future being in doubt Celtic held a media conference with Paolo Bernardo.
Apparently the club’s PR team were quick to put down the tweet from Martin. They weren’t very complimentary in how they did it.

Alas, 24 hours after Saturday’s fiasco there has only been the predictable sound of silence from Celtic. Or contempt.
Interim Chairman Brian Wilson hasn’t even issued the blandest of comments about his intentions in the role.
Beyond the SNP and ferries it seems that nothing much gets the blood pumping in the former Labour MP.
In over four years as CEO it is being kind to say that Nicholson has had limited media contact.
Two dishwater style interviews with Gerry McCulloch for Celtic TV plus a shared media conference for the return of Brendan Rodgers is all that fans have seen of their CEO.
Having engineered the exit of Rodgers Nicholson is now firmly in the firing line. Whenever Nancy goes that will intensify with the CEO and Paul Tisdale the next target for supporters.

And rightly so.sold off out best player’s and didn’t replace them , then gave our manager no option but to resign as the dross he brought in weren’t good enough even to win the league cup never mind the league.
Well if you think that any new manager is going to get a sniff of the 70m in the bank then you’re dreaming, players will still need to be sold
Unfortunately, like Peter Martin’s last tweet about Nancy leaving, it’s a false alarm again. It is more likely Nicholson has offered Wilf a five year contract extension. I don’t know what Interim Chairman Brian Wilson is complaining about, the SNP plan to name the ferries after him, called the SS Inactive and the SS Arrogant.
We can all see this is carnage in slow motion , but we are not the decision maker it’s the megalomaniac Desmond, stop giving them your money
Directors have been ripping off the Fans for Decades.
Huge salaries and bonuses based on the huge and loyal fan base .
Best part of £100m in the bank and a dearth of quality players on the field.
Shortchanging Fans to line their own and Share holders pockets.
They have had their turn at the Trough – Get them out!
The only way to force change is by gathering together the majority of shareholders and in addition, starving the current board out by withholding any money.
