One picture sums up the disconnect and utter contempt of the Celtic board at Tannadice yesterday.
Michael Nicholson never seems far away from checking on his mobile phone. Chris McKay has the look of someone constantly looking for a square-go.
Slightly disconnected Brian Wilson is mulling over his next attack on the SNP Government. The party that has been wiping the floor with new Labour for 20 years in Holyrood.
Behind them there are the hangers on.
Security chief Mark Hargreaves alongside a pal. Brought in to Celtic with the target of wiping out the Green Brigade, one that he has taken on with enthusiasm.
Tony Hamilton is the poverty warrior making a great living out of the Celtic Foundation. The caring, charity arm of the club that once paid out £3.5m in a year to a former CEO.
A club that pays HMRC a regular £10m a year in Corporation Tax on profits. Reinvest? Improve things for anti-establishment customers? Not a chance.
CELTIC FREE-LOADERS UNITED
Then there is Iain Jamieson, Communications Manager. The door-mat for legacy media.
Any level of attack on the club and fans is permitted but leave out the well paid executives.
You’ll need to look far and wide for criticism of Michael Nicholson, Brian Wilson or Dermot Desmond among old school newspapers.
One favoured puppy can’t let a month go by without stating the case for a Peter Lawwell statue to be built outside of Celtic Park!
I don’t think @CelticFC fans are understanding the severity of this, having this inept board and the Desmond’s in control. We are going to lose the title to one of two teams who are going to strengthen and be out of site for a long time to come. That’s the true severity of this!

The level of teamwork in that image is repeated on the park. By the squad that Nicholson assembled.
Half of the summer arrivals have already been banished.
Star striker Shin Yamada has played 105 minutes across five matches in Bundesliga 2 without scoring. Just like at Celtic.
CRIMINAL WASTAGE
Michel Ange-Balikwisha is even further out of the picture than Joel Mvuka. Only a medical prevented Celtic from paying £3m and handing a five years contract to Mvuka.
The list goes on and on.
The failed Academy, the decaying state of Celtic Park, the abandoned Fan Forums and a multitude of other issues.
Some serious deflections are needed in the lead up to the match at Dundee on April 5.
Looking at the miserable mob at Tannadice yesterday you have to question the sanity of any coach or manager wanting employed for next season.
The spring time spin will have to be off the radar to prevent outright mutiny among the Celtic support.

Keep up the good work Joe, at least your blog hasn’t been taken over by some bird unlike someone else’s.
Yeah…..chatgpt does wonders doesn’t it.
OVSTANDING AS PER USUAL JOE,THE TRINITY TIMS ARE ALWAYS TRUTH TELLERS,KEEP UP YOUR GREAT WORK LAD??????
Ask yourself, how did these people get on this Gravy Train?
Peter Lawwell was recruited from a shortlist of One. He then vigorously downsized and then sold control of the business to Dermot Desmond who liked the idea of owning a football club as his mates JP and John had shareholdings in MUFC. The deal PL put together anyone would have taken! No capital risk and Eternal dividends guaranteed! Over the last 20 years he is the only man in world football to MAKE money from “owning” a football club! ( tho best part is that, even tho he controls the business, he doesn’t actually OWN the business!)
Since then many friends and family have boarded the Celtic PLC Gravy Train. Jeez, McKay is a school pal ????)
It’s all about Jobs for the relatives and mates. Yes men and Lackeys populate the board and the whole business. NEDS, the most shameful part of the cost Gravy Train, shame the definition of the word and should be taken to task for dereliction of duty and not carrying out the job they are handsomely rewarded for.
The Summer will see a shuffling of the chairs and probably a “Head Coach”’ to front up in front of the Media. Come “Home” Robbie! You tick every box! Former Player. Irish. Cheap. Happy with the gig. A DOF- It’s got to be Neil! Good Celtic Man. Famously ( ironically!! ) “has an eye for a player” which is PL speak for he’ll get what he’s given. MON please come onto the board, we’ll boost that Pension. 2 days a month max. All the while whilst Shaun Maloney actually gets the gig and is guaranteed to be the next manager afterwards ( Good Celtic Man. Never criticises. Is happy with what he is given. This years Neil Lennon)
Rinse and repeat.
Twas always been thus! Tiocfaidh ár lá? My arse!! This Celtic Football Club shames its Heritage and the Board Supporters are part of the problem!
Our 25 years of domination are over unless this board go or come into the 21st century and show some ambition I’m nearly 60 and watched my club for over 50 years even the old board was never as bad as this one
