Don Robertson saved the day for Danny Rohl as his side recovered from being 2-0 down to hammer Falkirk 6-3.
The home side were leading 2-0 after 26 minutes when the match referee stepped in with the big decision of the day.
Back in January Auston Trusty was given a ridiculous red card away to Hearts, instigated by John Beaton on VAR.
Initially match referee Steven McLean produced a yellow card for a clear foul on Pierre Landry Kabore.
The Hearts forward had a fair bit of ground to cover to have an obvious chance of scoring.
Beaton thought otherwise, ordered a VAR review and from that moment Trusty was on his way off.
As expected Willie Collum backed up the decision taken by his mates. A precedent was set. Since that incident more red cards have been produced. Leaning more into ‘last man’ territory which isn’t in the Laws of the Game.
ROBERTSON MOVES THE GOALPOSTS
DOGSO- Denying an Obvious Goal Scoring Opportunity took on a whole new meaning.
Last Sunday at Livingston Marc Leonard of Hearts became the latest victim of the Trusty Precedent.
Lo and behold, almost three months after Trusty was sent off Robertson and Andrew Dallas decided to apply the Laws of the Game properly.
Jayden Meghoma was the first beneficiary. No Scottish football fans will be surprised by the change of direction.

Meghoma took a poor first touch 10 yards inside the Falkirk half.
Calvin Miller was onto it, the former Celt is one of the fastest players in the SPFL.
He was off and running, Meghoma was shaped all wrong. The defender knew the danger and wiped out Miller.
Robertson raced over with his yellow card out. He too knew the danger being presented. In the VAR room Dallas sat back with a smile.
Three minutes from half time Tochi Phil Chukwuani pulled a goal back for Rohl’s side. I
In the build up it looked like a cross from Nicky Raskin had swung behind the goal and back into play.
Scottish VAR doesn’t have goal-line technology.
During the first half Robertson awarded Rohl’s side 10 free kicks.
In September with Celtic having 77% possession at home to Hibs it took until the 89th minute for Robertson to award the hoops their first free kick.
Robertson, Beaton, Dallas, McLean and the rest of the cast have been left out of the officials selected by FIFA for the World Cup Finals.

As much as it pains me to say it, Sevco will win this title.
Based on what I watched today, they are the best equipped and don’t need MiB intervention.
We have a team incapable of coming back from 2 down, absolutely no way we do what Sevco did today, and I doubt Hearts would’ve either.
They are without doubt best equipped for the run in, it’s unquestionable.
We will be kingmakers though.
The question is….will we?
