An official Celtic Twitter account has been celebrating the achievements of Erling Haaland!
Celtic Japan took to the social media network after the celebrated striker notched the winning goal against Arsenal. His 30th involvement this season.
That goal took Manchester City to three points behind Arsenal with a game in hand. A win at Burnley on Sunday takes City into top spot.
That goal came soon after Celtic belatedly found the way to goal by seeing off St Mirren.
Former Manchester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho scored twice in a five minute burst in extra-time.
HAALAND OUTSCORES ALL CELTIC STRIKERS
It was the first time in 2026 that a Celtic striker had scored twice in the same match.
Iheanacho has now scored six goals this season. Tomas Cvancara has two, Juinior Adamu has one goal to his name.
Haaland’s tally does include assists but as Celtic fans bemoan the lack of goals someone at the club is celebrating the achievements of the most prolific striker in Europe!
The tweet has now been deleted.

Goal-scoring at Celtic didn’t have to be this bleak but that was the decisions taken by Michael Nicholson.
The CEO that declared Wilfied Nancy as the number one candidate to succeed Brendan Rodgers is on a horrific run.
That could possibly be traced back to February 2022 when he signed Celtic up to the Sydney Super Cup. Fortunately exporting his favourite trademark was quickly killed off.
During 2025 Nicholson went on an incredible mission to rid Celtic of goalscorers.
In January it was Kyogo Furuhashi with no attempt made at a replacement. Rodgers knocked back the chance to sign Shin Yamada.
In the summer Nicholson hit top gear. He sold off Nicolas Kuhn and Adam Idah. This time he imposed Yamada on Rodgers. The plan to undermine Rodgers had ran out of control.
With six goals Iheanacho is Celtic’s top scoring striker this season. While Celtic Japan is sharing the achievements of Haaland!
Yesterday’s match-winners at Hampden, Iheanacho and James Forrest are both out of contract in two months time.
