With his political career ending this week Douglas Ross is anxious to retain and expand his SFA income stream.
Today at Easter Road he was too anxious.
Lets not pretend anything else. Ross detests Celtic, their fans and the entire ethos of the club.
True he is bound to be on very friendly terms with Better Together colleague Brian Wilson. That is only through their shared dislike for the SNP.
On Thursday SNP are likely to deliver another crushing defeat for Wilson and Ross to stew over.
After climbing the refereeing ladder, greatly helped by his political views and profile Ross was barely seen running the line over an 18 month period.
This season he has been more prominent, a regular on Willie Collum’s circuit. Getting Glasgow and Edinburgh appointments to tie in with his political diary.
Ross is cutting a leaner figure these days. Perhaps Mounjaro could join Specsavers as sponsors to the Scottish referees.
DOUGLAS ROSS GETS HIS TWO BIG DECISIONS BADLY WRONG
Whenever he is involved in a televised match Ross insists on being positioned across from the cameras to ensure maximum exposure.
He was involved in two critical decisions today. He got both wrong.
Is he incapable of applying the Laws of the Game or just not fit enough to keep up with fast moving athletes.
That Tory C#*t Douglas Ross playing guessing games 3 yards behind play….

After 21 minutes of play Jamie McGrath lunged in to the lower shin of Alistair Johnston. Ross barely budged, he didn’t signal for a foul. David Dickinson awarded a yellow card, after a VAR review that was upgraded to red.
As we recall from the 2017/18 Ross isn’t slow about instructing a match referee.
When Alfredo Morelos ran into the elbow of Jozo Simunovic the chubby faced Tory was squealing ‘Red card, red card’ as he waved his flag for attention.
Collum followed that advise and sent off the Celtic defender.
Having missed that red card offense Ross then decided to disallow a goal that he wasn’t positioned to see.
With the benefit of the six yard line it was clear to see that Daizen Maeda was behind Alistair Johnston when the ball was played across the face of goal.
If you are five yards behind play you are in no position to make a judgment.
Straight away Ross had his flag raised, the on field decision was to disallow the goal.
Fortunately VAR again intervened to correct the mistakes made on the pitch.
Two key moments, two wrong decisions.
Fortunately Ross had very little opportunity to get involved in the second half as Celtic chased a victory.

I wouldn’t even have that FAT TORY F***K anywhere near a pub game to officiate never mind in a professional sense.
But the fun and games start tomorrow night with the 2 most BIGOTED klubs in Scotland playing each other, the question is,just to whom the brothers in black want to be the most biased to in the game.
Myself,I’m going for 1 or 2 players to be sent off for Hearts with a couple of penalties thrown in for sevco.
Should that not be the case and the game is at a draw at 90 mins, they will keep playing on until one of the BIGOTED teams scores a winner.
Oh and auld pishy at SSB predicted defeat for us today and a win tomorrow for Sevco, now his predictions have a habit of being the opposite of what he says, let’s hope it’s that case after his weekend predictions so far.
He is an appalling CHEAT of the highest order against Celtic…
He is D.ROSS but he certainly ain’t d.ross at Cheatin Celtic FC !
