Three full weeks after he rolled the ball into the Hearts net debate, discussion and clips of Callum Osmand’s goal are still going strong.
The young forward has yet to start a match for Celtic but in four substitute appearances he has created some very special moments.
On his second appearance he stretched out six yards from goal to net against Jack Butland to put Celtic 3-1 up and into the League Cup Final.
Alas a serious hamstring injury in his next appearance, away to Midtjylland resulted in six months being taken off his season.
Osmand could have eased up, settled for a fresh start in pre-season but saw a target as Celtic hung on in the SPFL title race.
On Matchday 38, at home to Hearts he was named as a substitute. Celtic had to win or the efforts of the previous 37 matches would have been worthless.
Osmand replaced Auston Trusty in the 73rd minute. Celtic went with two up front, Osmand and Kelechi Iheanacho. Daizen Maeda and James Forrest powered down the wings.
No one could anticipate the next 25 minutes.

In the 87th minute Marcello Saracchi darted forward, the ball was fed into the penalty box. Osmand cut it back, Daizen Maeda got in front of the Hearts keeper to put the ball in the net.
CALLUM OSMAND IS THE CELTIC HERO
The hopeful offside flag of David Roome was over-ruled by VAR. Bobby Madden’s mate had tried his best but Celtic were leading 2-1 and minutes away from the title.
For some of the fans in the clip above the tension was too much as Blair Spittal lined up a 97th minute free kick.
They looked away, wished their life away, the tensions of the past week were unbearable.
Callum McGregor blocked the free kick, Iheanacho the follow up from Cammy Devlin.
Suddenly Celtic were three on none. Osmand was racing the ball into the empty net in the eighth and final minute of stoppage time.
Game over. Title 56 and a week that no Celtic fan will ever forget. Or want to go through again!
