Shamed referee Dougie McDonald has again been left out of action for this weekend’s SPL fixtures.

McDonald made a quick return to the top flight on Saturday when he was put in charge of the Hibs-Motherwell match just a month after lying to Neil Lennon after the Dundee United-Celtic fixture which forced Steven Craven into resigning from the SFA.

Despite being described as Scotland’s top referee Dougie Dougie hasn’t been allocated any of the six SPL games this weekend.

Mike Tumility has been handed the Celtic-Dundee United match with Euan Norris put in charge of the televised Kilmarnock-Rangers match.

Steve Conroy has been handed his first SPL appointment of the season taking control of the Inverness Caley Thistle-Hibs match.
