Martin O'Neill Celtic newsMartin O’Neill is being strongly linked with a return to football at West Ham.

Some reports claim that Avram Grant will be sacked regardless of the result of tonight’s live televised match with Arsenal.

Grant has been under intense pressure over the last month with West Ham sitting at the bottom of the Premiership table.

West Ham owners David Gold and David Sullivan are big fans of O’Neill and have become increasingly concerned about the club’s position.

Gold and Sullivan paid £55m for a 50% stake in West Ham last January and brought in Grant to replace Franco Zola once the club’s place in the Paremiership was secured.

O’Neill has been out of football since August when he walked out on Aston Villa.

The former Celtic boss had been a 20-1 shot on Thursday night to be the next Upton Park boss, was backed down to 2-1 on with Paddy Power and 9-4 on with Star Sports.

What’s next for Robbie Keane?
