ADO Den Haag midfielder Lex Immers will accept any punishment the club opt to impose after video footage emerged of him appearing to chant anti-Semitic slogans.
The Dutch football association, KNVB, have also opened an enquiry into the incident.

Immers scored as ADO beat Ajax 3-2, after which he joined in with the post-match celebrations at the city’s Multifunctional Centre.
Videos appear to show him standing on a bar joining in with a song about “going hunting for Jews”. The chant was aimed at Ajax’s traditional Jewish support.
ADO admitted in a club statement that “things happened” and that they were seeking talks with staff, players and fans involved.
They also stated Immers would be handed the maximum fine possible.
Immers said: “I got carried away in the euphoria of a special win and at that moment was unaware of the offensive tone to an entire nation.
“I regret it and will accept the penalty imposed on me.”
He added to Voetbal International: “In the presence of two coaches, a player and a group of fans I have let the fan in me go.
“When I sing ‘We’re going to hunt for Jews’, I mean that we want to beat Ajax. Nothing more, nothing less.
“The slogan ‘We’re going to hunt for Jews’ seemed innocent.”
The Dutch FA have also opened an investigation.

Please don’t go down that old ‘lip-synching’ route. It’s a bit childish and clutching at straws.
