Celtic's singing star Cha Du-Ri

Cha Du-Ri Celtic newsCha Du-Ri has released a digital song which translates to ‘Because of the liver, because of the tired liver’.

Alongside team-mate Ki Sung-Yeung the full-back has made a number of television commercials with his song a spin off from the populality of one of those adverts.

The song has been a big hit throughout South Korea with other celebrities picking up on it which featured in a medical companies advertsing campaign.

The advert

On the park Cha has fully recovered from an ankle injury and ready to resume his Celtic career.

The 30-year-old hasn’t played for Celtic this year but did sign off in style with a vital goal at home to St Johnstone before leaving for the Asian Cup..

The song

Cha’s singing skills are no surprise to his team-mates after Neil Lennon decided on a novel way of introducing his signings.

Darren O’Dea revealed: “The manager was big on getting the team spirit going and wanted the new lads to settle as quickly as possible.

“He insisted the new boys got up to sing after dinner. They had no choice. It was a great way of breaking the ice and gave the lads something to laugh about.

“Cha Du-Ri’s performance was the most memorable. He belted out a Korean rap song.

“I got up to do a turn and so did some of the guys who had been there for a few seasons.”
