Nick Feely the hero as Celtic beat Aston Villa in Hong Kong

Nick Feely Celtic newsGoalkeeper Nick Feely was the early morning hero as Celtic dumped holders Aston Villa out of the Hong Kong Sevens on penalties.

Villa have won the compretition three times in the last four years and were strongly fancied to beat Celtic after winning all three group matches with a goal difference of 9-0.

Celtic went into the match on the back of a 3-0 defeat from Liverpool but matched Villa to take the game into a penalty shoot-out.

Feely saved penalties from Harry Forrester, Shane Lowry and Daniel Johnson with Celtic going through thanks to penalties from Marcus Fraser, Bahrudin Atajic and Greig Spence.

Celtic now face Ajax in the semi final with Liverpool playing Kitchee who beat Rangers 2-0 for a place in the final.
