Sydney City Celtic newsThe Sydney City Celtic Supporters Club have been voted as the best supporters club in Australia in a nationwide poll.

The poll was organised by FouFourTwo magazine with Everton’s Tim Cahill attending the award giving ceremony. Cahill collected the award for Overseas Australian Player of the Year.

In keeping with the founding motives of the parent club the Sydney Celts have charity very much in mind and raised over $5,000AUS during the course of the year for various causes.

Former Celt Paul McStay attended a fund raiser for the Tommy Burns Skin Cancer Trust with Motor Neurone, The Good Child Foundation and local human rights charity Football United all benefitting from the efforts put in by the Sydney City Celtic Supporters Club.
