Celtic legend Henrik Larsson could be contemplating a playing comeback as Landskrona BoIS fight off a horrendous injury list and relegation battle.
The 39-year-old came on for the last 20 minutes in yesterday’s LBoIS under-21 match against Mjallby (no, not him).
On Saturday Larsson had to watch from the sidelines as LBoIS lost 3-1 away to Varnamo.
That was their third defeat in a row and leaves LBoIS third bottom of the Swedish second division with just four wins from 17 matches
LBoIS next match is at home to Hammerby on Monday August 1..
Larsson hasn’t played a competitive match since the end of the 2009 Swedish season but will have stepped up his training programme ahead of the Celtic v Manchester United Legends match on Tuesday, August 9.
