Efrain Juarez Celtic newsMidfielder Efrain Juarez has NOT completed a loan move to Real Zaragoza.

Reports from Mexico are claiming that Celtic have agreed a season long loan deal but nothing has been finalised.

Both clubs are in talks about a deal for the player who starred in Mexico’s Gold Cup success last month.

After a bright start to his Celtic career including goals against Sporting Braga and Utrecht the £2m Mexican fell out of Neil Lennon’s plans.

With Ki Sung Yeung establishing himself and competing alongside Biram Kayal, Joe Ledley, Scott Brown and Kris Commons Juarez would have had limited options of breaking into the Celtic midfield.

Tuesday…. 6pm update…. A season long loan deal has been completed.

he deserves to be given a run in team

I to thought he’d be a cracker since I seen him at the Arsenal game. A great attacking midfield display,so what happened? you can’t get that bad overnight,he certainly did not excell in any other game, and remember if there is something there then Neil and the coaches would have seen the hunger in training.

We need strong players to win this title, ones who will at least try every week, lets get shot of him.

So where is he gonna fit in the team? Lenny obv don’t trust him

  • Joe McHugh says:

Two seasons ago Landry N’Guemo was our big midfield hope!

Now we have Scott Brown playing better than ever, exciting u-25’s in Kayal, Ledley and Ki and a great goalscoring midfielder in Kris Commons.

    They won’t all play.

Juarez needs to leave to play football, he’s a Celtic midfielder at the wrong time.
