Thomas Rogne could be drafted into the Celtic squad to face Sion on Thursday night.
The defender will play in a match against Blackpool reserves this afternoon before having his fitness assessed for the trip to Switzerland.
Rogne picked up a thigh injury during pre-season training in Australia has resumed full training after going through his own pre-season work.
With Charlie Mulgrew joining Glenn Loovens on the sidelines and doubts over the fitness of Kelvin Wilson Rogne could feature at some stage against Sion.
On his twitter account the defender said: “First week back training done! Game against Blackpool tomorrow, should be a good one.”
Last night Rogne was at Old Trafford but seemed underwhelmed by the atmosphere, tweeting: “Just been to Old Trafford.. Good game, but bad atmosphere, Old Trafford can’t even compare it self to Celtic Park.. #hh.”

Can someone please tell me but did Celtic not have to play their first leg against Sion away first but for some weird reason UEFA reversed it is this correct
Wasn’t a weird reason Colin, Celtic and Rangers can not play at home on the same night. so we are at home when they are not.
ah I see so we both would’ve been at home in return legs I see now thanks jebus
hope he plays Rasmussen but can’t see it though, though sammi done it before for us in Moscow last year
Rasmussen cant play! Not named in the 25 man squad list for Europa League
Celtic won 1-0 at Blackpool thanks to a goal from Paul George.
Rasmussen is out on loan
Does anyone know who the trialist was for Celtic in the friendly at Blackpool?
