Ki Sung-Yueng has joined NIKE’s elite team of football icons.
The Celtic midfielder has been signed up by the sportswear giant to endorse their products alongside Wayne Rooney, Wesley Sneijder, Christian Ronaldo and Sergio Aguero.
After his impressive start to the season following on from his man-of-the-match award in the Scottish Cup Final Ki was the subject of transfer speculation with some reports linking him with a £10m move to Russia.
Neil Lennon is in no rush to cash in on the 22-year-old who has already played in the World Cup, Olympic Games and Asian Nations Cup.
Ki is currently with the South Korean national side preparing for Friday’s World Cup qualifier at home to Lebanon.
