Steve Conroy will referee Saturday’s match between Kilmarnock and Celtic.
It’s the first time that Conroy has been given a Celtic match since his disastrous performance in the Celtic v Rangers match last January.
Conroy was totally out of his depth handling his one and only Glasgow Derby highlighted by mysteriously disallowing a Marco Fortune first half ‘goal’ followed by only yellow carding Kyle Lafferty for a knee high lunge at Andreas Hinkel.
That performance brought Conroy’s career to a shuddering halt having earlier in the season sent Walter Smith to the stand during a bad tempered Kilmarnock v Rangers fixture.
Crawford Allan will be in charge of the Rangers v St Mirren match.
