Daniel Majstorovic and Glenn Loovens continue together in central defence with Charlie Mulgrew, who replaced Ledley against Atletico not making it onto the bench.

Dylan McGeough, a scoring substitute against St Mirren last Saturday, returns to the bench after missing the Atletico match

I think that’s a poor team for away at Dundee United. We might line up as 4-4-2, but we’ve only got two proper midfielders- probably against five for them. Good players that they are, Samaras and Forrest cant defend. Therefore, I think if we dont score early, there’s a huge danger that we’ll lose a goal to a DU breakaway, or else we’ll eventually be overrun in the midfield.

I hope I’m wrong, but that team feels like an accident waiting to happen. Save the two wingers for Parkhead.
