Lets hope Calum Murray has no traffic problems

Madjid Bougherra newsCalum Murray will be in charge of Celtic’s clash with Hearts on Saturday despite being caught in traffic and missing out on the Dundee United v Celtic match.

Murray’s travel problems meant that Craig Thomson stepped up from being fourth official to take charge of the match.

Hopefully Murray’s travel arrangements will be better on Saturday otherwise Steve Conroy will have to step in. Conroy will be the fourth official on Saturday and was at the centre of Jim McIntyre’s anger at the weekend when he awarded Rangers a penalty when Sone Aluko fell to the deck without any contact from a Dunfermline player.

Iain Brines is the man in the middle for Saturday’s Hibs v Rangers match which has a history of being one of the toughest fixtures on the calendar.

Following his disastrous performance in the recent Motherwell v Celtic match Charlie Richmond continues his SPL exile by taking charge of the Dundee v Queen of the South match.

Willie Collum will referee tonight’s Champions League tie between Barcelona and Bate.

Don’t trust any of them all as think as thieves. Will we ever see Celtic starting to win games because of honest mistakes or the shame lose games because of honest mistakes.

Is John Yorkson taking the piss out of us,
this time last year he wanted us hung drawn and quartered, for refs strike after dougie dougie

  • Willie Aitkenhead says:

I trust someone will remind Mr. Yorkston of his comments IF Dunfermline find themselves relegated. Probably happy becuase it meant the club didn’t have to pay a bonus for a draw.

If we get our own house in order, we won’t need to worry about referee’s…don’t lose sight of our own shortcomings.

It is embarrassing when you look at the low level of refereeing standards in Scotland. the problem of course is that the still have the bias and bigotry bred into them the way they have for many years, and the way that the bigot to beat akll bigots, Hugh Dallas forced it on his staff underlings.

It is shameful that in this day and age these things are still happening when you consider the consequences to teams, players and fans alike when a ref deliberately makes a bad call just to satisfy his personal goals.

Teams can lose a point at best, which can ultimately, (and this has happened to celtic a few times recently), lead to them losing the title, leading to losing a place in Europe’s premier competition, leading to players having to be released, or sold due to lack of funds on lost revenues, and fans missing out on seeing the best teams in Europe perform against their own.

It also leads in other cases to relegation which is devastating to teams. It has led to the massive demise in the level of the game in Scotland taking us down to a level of humour amongst other countries.

These bigots are the ones responsible for the overall demise of the Scottish game, and this is a fact. But never minb eh. They still made sure their team got the penalty they needed, avoided dropping points the opposition deserved, avoided suspensions for manhandling refs, for Managers causing a fight only to see the opposing manager penalized and him not, avoiding punishment for cheating the country on taxes to the caost of everyone in the nation, and this list goes longer than my two arms.

One up for the bigots eh!! Then they ask why the Scottish game is the laughing stock of Europe!

Conroy supposedly didn’t find reason to give Dunfermline a free kick for the 1st 80 minutes the game against rangers, I don’t pretend to know the stats on average but does that not seem “odd” to say the least? Murray is probably the best of a bad bunch and yet he didn’t see a problem with Bougherra grabbing and man handling him, not a confidence inducing thought. Collum is probably the worst of the lot closely followed by Sallys personal bodyguard Brines. Then again Collum has a CRUCIFIX! (Aghhhh!) on his whistle so surely he is a “taig”, or so say many confused christians from the Govan area.

  • arniebhoy says:

never in a million years is collum a taig/fenian/catholic or celtic supporter. and to the best of my recollection it was a christian cross, not a crucifix which would suggest he is in actual fact a christian but non catholic in brand.

    • bhoylondon67@ says:

To be honest im couldn’t care if he hung a satanic sacrificial lamb from his whistle, he dislikes Celtic and is a blatant cheat. He should have been sacked after he gave Rangers a penalty for a non-existent foul he wasn’t even looking in the direction of.

  • Stevie says:

Bin the lot of them no wonder we struggle in Europe they play by a different set of rules just look at how the shame are punished in European competition when they don’t have a referee in there pocket.
Me personally I’d get shot of the lot, right down to junior level and start again.
