Festus Baise of Hong Kong club Citizen AA has become as big an internet hit as the big man of Scotrail following an amazing own goal in the Hong Kong league.
A run of the mill match between Citizen AA and Sun Hei has suddenly came under the spotlight with Baise scoring an incredible ‘scorpion’ style own goal from the corner of the penalty box sending his ‘clearance’ high into the air and dropping under his own bar into the net.
The Citizen defender was attempting to block a cross coming in from the right when it all went wrong, fortunately for Baise his side went on to win the match 3-2.
Thanks to You Tube his moment of madness has been relayed worldwide which might prove a stumbling block for any future transfer.
Within 24 hours of the video being uploaded it had been viewed over 750,000 times and will go through the 1,000,000 at some stage today.
