Liam Gormley Greig Spence Celtic newsCeltic have been drawn away to Aberdeen in the last eight of the SFA Youth Cup- if they can get past Dunfermline.

John Kennedy’s side were due to face the Pars yesterday but the match was postponed due to the weather conditions.

Celtic have won the domestic double for the past two seasons and have drawn with and beaten Aberdeen already this season.

There are only three other SPL sides left in the competition with St Mirren drawn at home to Stenhousemuir and Dundee United travelling to Livingston. In the other tie Queen of the South will host either Ayr United or Inverness Caley Thistle.

League leaders Hearts lost out to Hibs who in turn lost 3-0 to St Mirren at the weekend. Rangers were knocked out in the third round by Dundee United.

On Saturday Celtic travel to meet Rangers at Murray Park before playing St Mirren at McKenna Park, Govan on Tuesday.

In August Celtic drew 1-1 away to Aberdeen before beating the Dons 4-2 at Barrowfield last month.

The Celtic v Dunfermline match has been rescheduled for Wednesday, kick-off 12.30, with the quarter-final ties due to be played on Sunday, February 12.
