Ally McCoist transfer newsPolish striker Pawel Brozek has been added to Rangers ever expanding transfer wish-list.

Despite the club having it’s share dealing suspended by the PLUS market and the dark cloud of a possible £49m plus tax bill it appears to be business as usual as the Ibrox side look to strengthen the £8m strike force of Nikica Jelavic and Kyle Lafferty.

Last week Ally McCoist happily discussed his hopes of signing £2m rated Real Valladolid striker Javi Guerra as well as a pre-contract offer for Francisco Sandaza of St Johnstone.

Underling his intention to add to his expensive strike force 28-year-old Pole Brozek also appears to be attracting the attention of the Rangers boss who has Honduran goal-machine Jorge Claros on trial at Murray Park this week.

Brozek has started just three matches for Trabzonspor this season with Rangers reportedly hoping to arrange a loan deal until the end of the season.

In November Indian strikers Sunil Chhetri and Jeje Lalpekhlua enjoyed a four day trial at Murray Park.

Meanwhile Swedish midfielder Mervan Celik is expected to turn down a Bosman move to Ibrox.

I had a “wish list” like this for Christmas……..when i was about 6!! Fat Sally can wish away all he wants because it aint happening, someone obviously in our unbiased media is trying to appease “The People” that they are still in contention for players at a time when Celtic FC continue to build a young and exciting football team.
    Tick-tock.

Can anyone explain to me how this is possible? If their creditors are having money ring-fenced because they believe that the club are seriously at risk how can they be in the market for players.

Where are the fees coming from? Where are the wages coming from? Surely any club selling or loaning players to them will insist on cash payments?

I see Hearts and Rangers are doing each other a few financial favours in these troubled times with the Jammies knocking 100,000 quid off the transfer fee for Wallace for early payment. Although where Rangers will come up with the dosh is a mystery.

I feel certain that IF anyone comes in at Ibrox…then someone will definitely be leaving. Weir hanging up his boots will take a little off the wage bill but more cuts are absolutely certain.
