Gary Hooper Celtic newsNeil Lennon reported two minor injury concerns following the 3-0 win over Dunfermline.

Gary Hooper and Adam Matthews were both substituted during the second half with the hoops boss likely to rest both players in Sunday’s Scottish Cup tie at Peterhead.

Neither injury is likely to provide a long term problem but after a catalogue of injury problems in the first half of the season Lennon will be hoping for better luck as his side prepare to battle for three trophies.

Gary Hooper was feeling his groin before the game and Adam Matthews is feeling his thigh,” the Celtic boss explained at East End Park.

“We have a strong squad, but we will not take the game lightly because this is going to be Peterhead’s cup final.”

Peterhead warmed up for the match with a 3-0 home win over Elgin City but they remain second bottom of the Third Division four points ahead of East Stirling.

Not wanting to cause trouble, will Mr Yorkson apoligise to Celtic or their fans for his supporters getting arrested, they were goading our fans who laugh at them, then the polis wade in to them, is it just us and rankers that make headlines

I was at the opposite end to the balloons in the Dunfermline end, they looked like they were wearing rangers tops?
Maybe these cretins are the spawn of mr yorkston, who can’t hide his dislike of Celtic.

I find this new anti Celtic bitterness really sad but not at all representative of the Dunfermline support.

There has always been a terrific rapport between our clubs and we shouldn’t let these wee tubes or their idiot director interfere with that!

  • sligo tim says:

Sorry Gerry but the sweet rapport went away a few years back, remember Ipox rankers won goal diff, yorkson slated Chris Sutton for his remarks,
then last season during refs strike he blamed us, and said we should be suspended or points deducted

he’s a bigger BIGOT then me lol
