SFA football newsFive Celtic players have been included in the 18 strong Scotland u-17 squad to play in the elite round of the European Championships.

Former Sunderland boss Ricky Sbragia has named goalkeeper Jordan Hart, defender Stuart Findlay, midfielders Lewis Kidd and Jamie Lindsay plus striker Denny Johnstone in his squad to face Denmark, Lithuania and Iceland.

The matches will take place at Somerset Park, Cappielow and Dumbarton’s Strathclyde Homes Stadium.

All of the Celtic players, with the exception of Hart, have played for the u-19 side this season with Findlay and Kidd starting matches in the Next Gen Series.

Former Celt Islam Feruz is also included in a Scotland squad for the first time since moving to Chelsea.
