James Forrest and Thomas Rogne look certain to miss out on Celtic’s trip to Kilmarnock.
Both players have played a significant role in Celtic’s surge to the top of the table with Forrest a front runner in the player-of the- year awards.
“He (Forrest) is a doubt,” Lennon admitted yesterday to Celtic tv. “We’ll have to wait and see how he is today and tomorrow.
“Thomas Rogne turned his ankle in the game against St Johnstone and did brilliantly to play on through the pain.
“He’s been having treatment this week so I won’t know if he’s going to be fit until tomorrow (Friday).”
Forrest’s ankle injury, picked up in the League Cup Final defeat from Kilmarnock, is the bigger concern with the Scottish Cup semi-final with Hearts just over a week away.
If Rogne fails to prove his fitness it could mean a return to the side for Emilio Izaguirre with Charlie Mulgrew moving in to central defence.
Victor Wanyama remains suspended but Cha Du-Ri is available again.
