Dylan McGeough Celtic newsDylan McGeough and Lewis Toshney both made their u-21 debuts for Scotland last night as Billy Stark’s side lost 4-1 to Italy at Easter Road.

The Celtic duo both started the match on the bench with McGeough replacing Johnny Russell of Dundee United at half-time and Toshney playing the last ten minutes as a substitute for Aberdeen’s Ryan Jack.

Gary Mackay0Steven equalised for Scotland in the 32nd minute but two goals in the last 15 minutes secured the win for Italy.

Scotland are currently second to Holland in Group 10 of the 2013 European Championship qualifiers and travel to Bulgaria on May 31 in their next qualifier.
