Charles Green Rangers newsCharles Green’s daily soundbite to sell season-tickets has continued with today’s claim that he is always the victim.

Turning again to the Daily Record the Ibrox chief has compared the treatment of Rangers to the way the Italian and English FA’s handled the issues at Portsmouth and Juventus.

Conveniently overlooking the fact that neither of those clubs went into liquidation Green also ignores the fact that the SFA presented membership to a club that has no audited accounts.

Green is upset that his new club are unable to show video of matches on their website but has no problem ignoring the hundreds of businesses left high and dry by the debts of Rangers.

“We are not allowed to forget what has ‘appened and I just feel I am always the victim of the piece,” Green told the Record. “Every day it’s one thing after another.

“You see in the paper another football association, the FA, trying to help Portsmouth and allowing them to start the season with no deduction.

“The English FA are actually trying to help Portsmouth and the Scottish FA seem to be doing everything they can to make it difficult for us. Look what ‘appened to Juventus. They were found guilty of bribing referees and this was corruption but the Italian FA helped them, unlike the ones who are supposed to support us.

“It’s new things all the time – then the SFA ring up and say you can’t play any matches on Rangers TV because we’ve got no rights.”

Green has been asked by the SFA to explain his claim that the decision not to accept Sevco into the SPL was based on bigotry and is likely to be hit with another disrepute charge for accusing the SPL of being drunk or incompetent in dealing with the debts of Rangers to other clubs.

Awwww poor wee soul…never mind I am sure he will cheer up when he starts counting the £ 30m he was going to deposit in Sevco’s accounts by the end of last month LOL

While I am certain the loyal fans who turned up will enjoy the thrill of seeing mid table SPL journeymen playing against 3rd rate nonentities and struggling…sure to pack them in week after week.

Of course they can claim the media rights simply by paying the outstanding debts from Rangers FC but then that’s asking too much obviously.

No idea how much moaning he will do when the BDO start digging and the authorities carry out proper punishments for the decade plus of cheating.

Victim? Ogilvie’s puppet and pantomime villan more like. “Look behind you”, Charlie, here comes the taxman.

  • Stevie says:

Hopefully the liquidator will recognise that the assets were sold off on the cheap and cancel the deal and let Hector loose on them.
    Shutthenewshame.

  • TC says:

Chico playing the victim is pushing all the right buttons of the deluded fanbase that think RFC isnt dead. All of a sudden instead of starving him out they fall over each other to throw money at his faceless consortium.

Remember how Green said he would reveal who his backers were once he bought the club.

A few well chosen distractive sound bites later and this is forgotten and he has them forcing money into his big Orkshire hands designed to hold large quantities of cash.(Oops! Genuine typo there but I’ll just leave it in)

His constant attacks on the football authorities has positioned them as the fall guys if/when there is a second insolvency event at Ibrox. Remember who knows who actually is in control of Blue Pitch and what their motivations are.

Psychologists will be using this as a case study in social engineering for years to come. Well played Sir! Well played indeed!

  • Why do we give this clown the time of day he’s a nobody from a new 3rd div club who’s fans used to follow that club that went out the game can’t remember there name, We have a big game tomorrow lets concentrate on that and not worry about a person who has nothing to offer in life. Hail hail

The liquidator apparently has Stevie & is set to demand £96m for Ibrokes & Moonbeam Park. Then you’ll see Charlie Boy greet 🙂

    • TC says:

If true you can bet your bottom dollar that it wont be Green & Co paying. I wonder what deluded souls would throw cash into a funeral pyre!?

    • Stevie says:

That sounds about right to me either that or we’ll find every Tom Dick and Charlie doing the same.
      Shutthenewshame.

      Charlie Green fill your pockets.

Green, like Murray before him , is pandering to the lowest common knucledragging denominator . . .the poor duped hordes of sevco supporters. By playing the victim card it says everything that they want to hear whether there is any truth in it or not doesn’t matter. There is an obvious agreement between the Daily Dodo and Green – you spout the usual pi$h every day and we will give it headlines . . .for the next four years. Only trouble is that Green will be riding into the sunset toot sweet whenever the proverbial hits the fan and he can turn a quick big buck. He will then meet up with his old pal Craigie Whyte where there will be the mother of all parties to celebrate their financial cunning while the ibrax hordes will be left high and dry once again. . .and super Ally will become just plane old mediocre Ally once again.

  • John says:

He reminds me of that 70s cartoon, Callamero(sp) I think it was called, always saying ‘it’s an injustice, it is’ in a comedy Spanish accent. Charlie’s is obviously a Yorkshire drawl. Sevco supporters are proving to be the thickest fans on the planet if they believe a word out of this clowns mouth.

I am a wee bit confused with the broadcasting of games on Oldco’s website. If the SFA have no rights to broadcast Sevco’s games then why is he harping on about it. If the teams in the league have no broadcast rights why does he expect Rangers to be treated differently.

Or is he talking about Oldco games? Again Oldco are dead, why would the Newco have automatic broadcasting rights of their games, they are not even an SPL team. They are not the same club. Can someone brighter than me explain what the hell he is moaning about.

In an ideal world the sfa should introduce an iq test before you can buy a season ticket, ibroke would be like one of they haunted funfairs scooby doo style

  • sands1888 says:

And youll soon find out about being a victim chico. When they realise you are the next cowboy to rob them you will be on the end of endless semi literate death threats.
