SFA/SPL EBT newsThe dirty was swamping the SPL and SFA has continued with another draft of the five way deal to salvage Rangers emerging today.

Overnight the first draft emerged detailing the deal to remove SPL titles, Scottish Cups and League Cups in exchange for no further scrutiny of the EBT scandal.

The latest draft details how to provide Rangers/Sevco with a First Division place but was dependent on the SFL clubs voting the deal through.

Despite extensive lobbying from Stewart Regan warning of the dangers of rejecting the deal the member clubs overwhelmingly rejected the deal despite the carrot of league reconstruction being thrown into the deal.

Regan and his SPL counterpart Neil Armageddon Doncaster went out on a limb to push the deal through and were clearly close to the authors of the various draft agreements.

SFA/SPL EBT newsDespite promising to operate based on transparency Regan and Doncaster have avoided commenting on the Sevco deal despite the goading of Charles Green.

As the spokesman for Sevco Green would be involved in the drafting of the ‘agreements’ with the final version only agreed two days before Sevco played Brechin City in the Ramsdens Cup.

Details of that deal have remained sketchy with Sevco given SFA membership without producing any audited accounts or making public disclosure of who their investors are.

With further details leaking out it seems that Regan and Doncaster will be forced into making a statement or where they stand and justifying their decision making process.

Until then the chronic lack of leadership within Scottish football will continue to undermine the game with only the intervention of UEFA likely to weed out the truth from behind the vested interests attempting to save their skin and remain onboard the gravy train.

Everyone knows how corrupt the SFA and they are. infact I’d even go as far as to say the SFA and the buns are the same organisation!

Regan/Doncaster. Disasters? Transparency with the establishment of the SFA/SPL are totally non existent But the truth will be outed sooner or later. Hail Hail.

Interesting that the deal is to ‘only’ take the five titles, does that mean the powers that be believe that the rule breaking extends much further, i.e more league titles, cups etc. if rangers do lose these titles etc you’ve got to wonder if anyone will try and chase Murray et al for competition winnings, loss of earnings etc.

  • Jbhoy1967 says:

Another thing is the timing of the ‘banner’ against the backdrop of the ‘deal’. It’s about time there was transparency from the powers that be that run the game, they only exist because the fans pay to see the games, it’s about time they realised they are there to serve not to rule.

That’s a good point. The S F A know well what the press are like when it comes to a Green Brigade banner.
A perfect distraction. . . If we were all half wits.

Why is there no reaction from UEFA?
