Biram Kayal newsBeram Kayal and Joe Ledley will resume full training tomorrow.

The midfield duo haven’t played since Celtic’s 2-0 win away to Helsingborgs on August 21 which has severely restricted Neil Lennon’s midfield options.

Despite his ongoing hip injury Scott Brown played his third match in eight days in the 2-0 win over Dundee with Lenon delivering an injury update after the match.

“We’ve got Kayal and Ledley coming into training tomorrow,” Lennon revealed. “And Samaras not far away so things are looking good again.

“We’ve been unlucky with a rash of injuries coming very early in the season. Once the players find their match rthyn and regular training they’ll be fine.

“Lassad felt his groin a little but so we took him off as a precaution but apart from that everyone came through the game unscathed.

“Miku will be fit for Tuesday, he just had a bit of fatigue in the muscles. The squad is looking a lot stronger than it was this time last week.

“We’ll have a strong squad out on Tuesday (against Raith Rovers in the League Cup). I want to keep their fitness going and get in that match rthymn, keep them ticking over.”

Goals in each half from Gary Hooper and Victor Wanyama gave Celtic all three points despite a first half penalty miss from Brown. Dylan McGeouch appeared as a second half substitute six weeks after suffering a fractured jaw against Real Madrid.

The win lifts Celtic to a point behind Motherwell who play Aberdeen tomorrow with the hoops travelling to Fir Park next Saturday before the Champions League tie away to Spartak Moscow.
