Miku Celtic newsNeil Lennon still has faith that Miku can make his mark at Celtic.

The striker was signed on loan during the summer transfer window but has only scored one goal since switching from Getafe to the SPL.

Miku started the home Champions League ties against Benfica and Barcelona and is Marbella with Celtic as the squad prepare for a crucial four month period after the winter break.

“It took Ki-Sung Yueng a wee while to settle and he went on to have a great time here,” the Celtic boss pointed out.

“He has not had an impact yet, but it takes time and a bit of adjustment to the Scottish game.

“We have not given up on him, but we have had a conversation and he knows time is running out.

“He wants to be a success here and we want him to be a success too. It has been quite frustrating, but I would imagine he will stay until the end of the season.”

Australian Tom Rogic is with Celtic in Spain as a trialist and has already made a favourable impression on Lennon.

Reading and QPR are also interested in the midfielder with Lennon ready to firm up Celtic’s interest in the young Australian.

“I think Rogic is worth the money from what I’ve seen of him,” the Celtic boss stated. “But I would like to have a proper look myself before we decide.

“We like the look of him he is a nice mover with the ball with a good left foot. He is still only 18, but he is tall, quite strong and athletic.

“Reading have been interested but we stole a march on them. The kid is excited about coming so we will see how he does. We’re hoping to get him back over to Glasgow for another week.”
