Ally McCoist wants to see Ibrox cleansed.
Another week of damaging revelations culminated in a 2-1 defeat from Peterhead just 24 hours after chief executive Charles Green walked out on his beloved club.
A secret enquiry is yet to get underway to examine the business relationship between Mr Green and Craig Whyte with the fear at the club being that the truth could prove very damaging.
“What the club needs is to be totally cleansed to give ourselves an opportunity to move on,” McCoist pleaded. “We need everything out in the open and hopefully this investigation will do that so everyone can see what has been going on and where we are going to go because we’ve not had a chance to do that.
“I am certainly half full rather than half empty and the job has been done this season.
“We can argue about how it was done but the bottom line is the boys have managed to do the job. Now all we would like, as coaches and managers, is an opportunity to take the team forward and hopefully we can do that next year.”
On Radio Scotland tonight former director Paul Murray admitted that talks may be required with the SFA who granted Sevco associate membership after assurances from Mr Green that Mr Whyte had no involvement or connection with the newco.
The SFA have asked Mr Green to explain media reports linking his consortium Mr Whyte and also charged him over racist comments that were twice justified before he apologised.
Cleansed?? Demolished maybe.

Will that be before or after the next 5 way agreement is sorted for and on behalf of Sevco? I presume there will be sufficient time given to the parachutists to stand by for their next jump – weirdly up and not down, in and not out. Even the laws of physics get bent.
