Wise cracking Ally McCoist has taken time off from weighing up his £10 transfer warchest to laugh at SPL clubs!
The imminent departure of Charles Green, the third chief executive that he’s worked with following the departures of Martin Bain and Gordon Smith, didn’t seem to effect the Ibrox boss as he looked back on the SPL’s failure to deliver on league reconstruction.
McCoist who gave his public endorsement to Green in August said: “There were six in the SPL asking their supporters what to do- that’s absolutely fine, I don’t have a problem with that, but you can’t do it one minute and not do it the next.
“There is a danger, because you can’t agree with supporters all the time. There must be decisions where you might upset the majority but you believe it is for the best.
“That’s what they’ll say it is at the moment but at least ask them and listen to them.
“The irony’s not lost on me, how everyone at the start of last season was listening to their supporters, saying that’s exactly what we are doing and there you are.
“Now it’s all change at Crewe! But it’s interesting. I have a quiet smile to myself because at the start of this season everyone was listening to their fans, saying: ‘Our fans want this, so this is what we’ll do’.
“Great. All of a sudden I don’t see many fans being asked what they think because it’s all about the clubs now.”
While offering his wit and wisdom to supporters in the SPL McCoist has failed to inform his supporters about the mysterious backers who bankrolled Green to power as the ghost of Mr Craig Whyte grows more prominent in the background.

Basically Ally wanted his new football club parachuted into the SPL on the pretence that they are Rangers,and all the underhand dealings and cheating from the defunct Rangers wiped from the slate but still retain the identity and history….. Is the guy for real? Like seriously….

Fat sally should not laugh at anybody, his beloved sevco have been caught lying, cheating,tax evading and any other underhand dealing you care to name. For them to blame other clubs is laughable, do the crime do the time and try to come out of this with a wee bit of dignity and credibility because the whole sevco saga is a joke.
