Neil Lennon has hinted that Celtic will withdraw goodwill to the Scotland national team.
The SFA’s decision to impose a three match suspended sentence has angered the Celtic boss after a period of relative calm with the national association.
Clubs aren’t obliged to supply players for international friendlies with Celtic supplying the bulk of players used by Scotland from u-19 downwards.
With the SFA sidestepping more pressing issues to single out the Celtic boss for punishment Lennon may be about to become much less co-operative over the availability of his players.
“They have broken a massive boundary,” he stated. “I will think long and hard about doing them any favours in the future, especially when it comes to international teams or youth teams.
“Has trust been broken? Absolutely. Respect? I think we have done more for the country this season than anyone else has.”
The circumstances of the recent ban hardly need forensic inspection.
Bobby Madden’s dismal performance was slammed by the Celtic boss after the game with the SFA keeping Madden out of the SPL spotlight after overturning two of his decisions during the match.
From left field a charge of using offensive language appeared despite the incidents going unreported by the match officials.
Lennon added: “I was proved right. Victor Wanyama’s red card was rescinded and Esmael Goncalves got a two-game ban for diving.
“The ref had a poor day. I have not been critical of any refereeing performance this season up until that one. It is just a little bit coincidental in my view this was brought up after that.”
The SFA have shown contempt, anti Celtic attitude from not building a roof over our heads at auld Hampden to currently fastracking Son of Dallas through the Refs Cabal, to NL’s swearing.

he speaks out about the sub standard performance of officials then the first chance they get a ban .baletant harrassment.the first chance i get i will report and demand a resposne for similar actions of visiting managers to celtic park. and watch those closely at away grounds on tv with the pen ready.

The bit that’s going to hurt the SFA most in all this is regardless of their clear bias against Lennon and their dig at him by preventing him celebrate with the players and fans in whichever of the next three games we clinch the title, Celtic will still be champions, yes, thats the part that stings the infantile SFA and SPL most. We will be champions regardless, like that or not, even the SFA and SPL can do nothing about that. Hurts doesn’t it?
Celtic and Lenny in particular face yet more unprecedented bias from the cowards who fail at every aspect of their jobs.
