Celtic’s 44th title can be celebrated over and over by fans worldwide thanks to the new SPL deal with You Tube.
In the digital age fans in New Zealand and Canada can be as upto date as those in and around the east end of Glasgow with social media allowing the sites and sounds of the title party to be shared throughout the extended Celtic family.
SPL Official have put together a series of short video clips that brilliantly pick up the atmosphere and excitement of a memorable campaign in which Celtic celebrated 125 years of triumphs mixed with tragedy and tribulations.
The action starts on the park with Joe Ledley firing in the opening goal through to the 90th minute when Frazer Wright spoiled a huddle by putting the ball into the net.
After the final whistle a podium was quickly put together for the players and backroom staff to be presented with their medals. During the lap of honour Neil Lennon handed his medal away- after the match he smiled as he mentioned the fact that he has a few medals already.
A newish feature of title celebrations is bringing out the kids to share in the adulation. A decade ago the Sutton boys used to have a right old rammy on the park while Jordan Larsson played to the crowd showing all the manerisms of his old man.
The current crop of Celtic kids seem much quieter although Emilio Izaguirre Jnr keeps his dad on his toes with his ducking and diving.
Finally we get a glimpse into the dressing room where Kris Commons seems to take control of celebrations despite missing the match due to a virus which looks to have cleared up quickly.
